
I may on occasions suggest that telephone counselling is not ideal/effective for the problem you are presenting. Don't worry - I much prefer to talk myself out of a job, than give you a poor service!
Very few problems are of an ‘all or nothing’ nature. If you are in any doubt if telephone counselling is right for you, then do call me to discuss.

Telephone counselling is a private and confidential form of help. I will not pass on any information from or about you to anyone else, with the following exceptions: when it is in the public interest, on disclosure of for example child abuse or threat of harm to other third parties. Disclosure can also be ordered by a court of law or by the police (with a warrant). In addition I will reserve the right to inform your local primary care team/doctor or family member if it is my assessment that you intend to harm yourself. |

Concessions available for face-to-face counselling only.
Payment is made by PayPal after you have made an appointment and
before your telephone counselling session. I will send you an
invoice after we have made an appointment.
I do not pass on, rent or sell your name or any identifying information to any third party individual or organisation for any reason whatsoever.
I may print correspondence received electronically and store it, with my notes, under number, separate from your contact information.
I do not keep any records relating to you on computer.
You have access to my notes about your telephone counselling.
I only keep notes relating to telephone counselling sessions for a period of three years, after which they are destroyed.
You have the right to request a copy of any information that I hold about you.
