We are a small practice based in the heart of Hartlepool. The H.G in our name stands for Human Givens and we are committed to delivering therapy from the human givens perspective.

We deal with many organisations, providing one to one counselling to staff that are experiencing emotional distress and also work alongside the Conditions Management Programme assisting people to make the transistion from long term sick to returning to work or changing direction in their lives.

Our speciality is to help staff and management that have the responsibility for the welfare of others to recognise their own stress levels as well as anxiety in others and providing the person with the skills to manage their anxiety effectively.

We also work alongside Victim Support dealing with Victims of Crime and provide effective treatment for PTSD for Armed Forces as part of the charity Resolution.

We provide psychological training to businesses and organisations and also receive self referrals from private clients dealing with a range of issues from anxiety to psychosis.

Fees are negotiable with the first session f.o.c and training needs can be tailor made to suit the organisation.

All our therapists are training to Practitioner level and hold Enhanced CRB's. We have our own counselling rooms that are a haven of comfort and care that encourage people to "offload" safely and comfortably.

We are walking distance from the railway and bus terminal (just round the corner) and we are based on the ground floor with ample parking nearby.
